The Italian American Society of St. Petersburg encourages members to get involved. Below is a list of committees that help make our organization successful. If you are interested in becoming involved with any of our committees email the contact person listed below each committee.

Fund Raising Committee – has the responsibility for planning activities that will raise money for the organization through dances, tours, concerts, fairs, etc.

Cultural Committee – is responsible for arranging for speakers and presenters at the general meetings; organizing special lectures, movies and presentations throughout the year; and involving the membership in activities of cultural interest in the area.

Educational Committee – plans and structures the Italian language classes and other classes of interest to the membership.

Social Committee – encourages an atmosphere of harmony, camaraderie, cooperation and fun for all members by organizing social gatherings such as dances, picnics, tours, cooking demonstrations, etc.

Membership Committee - handles publicity and communications for the organization and its events; invites people to become members; maintains the roster of members; and notifies members of the date when dues are due.
